Peter says this is a photo of a street corner from the top of a London bus. “Because of the way that the sunlight was reflecting off the buildings, creating the shadows and the contrast reminded me of a Victorian era street in the 21st Century”, adding that “it came down to the knowledge of photography that I hands-down attribute to Jeff who is my tutor at Crisis.”

“Although I was made homeless by my own family, it’s brought out a lot in me. Now it’s just a case of trying to get somewhere to live. I found more friendships and more family outside of them so in a way blood is not thicker than water.”

Peter is now focused on setting up a creative company. “So all the photography and the poetry and the song writing and the web design – they’re all geared towards getting my organisation up and running.”
