When we say the artists are talented - they are! And when we say they are up for any challenge - well, they are too! Tende Kai first connected with Cafe Art, through Crisis, at our pop-up exhibition at Ikea's flagship store in Wembley last year. Since then, he has been in a number of our events, including the latest Arts Market held only a few weeks ago. He has taken on the challenge of painting each of the winning 12 + 1 photographs in our MY LONDON 2016 calendar on canvas. He has already done the cover of Mr Bond, photographed by ROL, last weekend. (ROL incidentally is the only photographer who has had a winning shot in all of our calendars to-date!) And today, live at our calendar stall at Spitalfields, he reproduced the month of January (Tyre Break by Desmond Henry). So if you want to see him paint the other remaining months, live, pop down to our calendar stall. And if you buy one of our calendars, you will be given a FREE ticket to attend a special pop-up exhibition at a secret location in the centre of London. Held at the end of November, you can view all the winning photographs side-by-side together with Tende Kai's take of them on paint.
