Jason Atmann took this photo of pillars from the old Blackfriars Railway Bridge which have been left standing in the river next to the new Blackfriars Railway Bridge which also has platforms spanning the river. The view is from Embankment looking across to Southwark. “It was the last day before I had to bring the camera back. I came down here on my bike. I think it’s an interesting view, with the columns and the towers behind.” Jason, who is originally from Greece, got another photo in the 2025 MYLONDON calendar.
