Our 2025 Journey features 42 images from 16 participants of the Cafe Art RPS Photography Mentoring Group, with a selection displayed above.

The group was started for MYLONDON photographers and wanted to take their photography further than the annual contest with one-time-use film cameras. It is an extension of, but separate from, MYLONDON and has been run by volunteers from RPS London Region since 2015.

Fujifilm UK donated six X1 mirrorless digital cameras to start the group up in 2015.

Fujifilm donated eight refurbished XT30 Cameras and eight lenses in 2024 (pictured).  From the fund raiser supported by RPS members and Café Art supporters, the group was then able to purchase from Fujifilm UK, at a significant discount, four XT30ii cameras plus two zoom lenses and accessories they needed, such as extra batteries.

The sale of the MYLONDON greetings cards earns the group an income from each card sold from our website. The group, co-ordinated by Julian Rouse, meets in different parts of London every two weeks, meeting on Zoom weekend in between in-person meet-ups to talk about the photos taken.

See the exhibition in Brixton Tate Library from January 6 - 30. The Open View of Our 2025 Journey is Thursday January 15 from 6pm to 8pm. Sign up here (https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/1972617774866) if you plan to attend because tickets are limited
