Cafe Art does not usually need a good reason to start a celebration when it comes to the artists and photographers!
Well this time it is for a very special occasion. Not only to celebrate our new 'base' at Qbic Hotel in Whitechapel, but also to showcase the winning photographs from this year's contest in a special exhibition in Qbic's restaurant. It was also to acknowledge our sincere gratitude to Carter Wong Design who has been responsible for the layout and design of all our three calendars. And they did them for free! We commissioned one of the artists, Tagzee, to produce his iconic 'metallic-like' design of their logo as a token of appreciation.
A very special thank you to Paul, Rebecca, Ollie, Dimitri and the staff at Qbic Hotel for making that evening of Thurs 20/11 so very special to all the artists, photographers, friends and supporters who came long, and for offering Cafe Art the much needed space in the hotel. They even provided the drinks for the evening too. Thank you, Qbic!!!
