Exciting news about the 2026 calendar
Voting on the 2026 MYLONDON calendar has resulted in two sets of 12 photos going into two calendar designs!
The selection panel met on Monday, 7 July, to choose the calendars based on the public vote. This year, we received an overwhelming response, and we appreciate everyone who participated.
The calendar images were revealed on Friday, 8 August, when we launched our 30-day crowdfunder here on this website. The anticipation is building, and we can't wait to share the stunning images with you!
How your support makes a difference
The pre-sales of the calendars and greeting cards help us fund this project. Your contributions are vital. They not only support the project participants but also cover essential costs. Each participant earns £50 for a Top 25 photo and another £50 per photo if it gets into the 2026 calendar.
In addition to compensating our talented photographers, we also pay for the printing of the calendars, shipping, and all other related production costs. The target crowdfunding amount is £10,000. This will ensure we can print and ship the calendars and greeting cards effectively.
Campaign timeline
After the campaign ends on Monday 8 September, we will print the calendars and cards. They will be shipped in early October. We plan to launch them in London on Friday, 10 October, coinciding with World Homeless Day. This event is significant, and we hope to raise awareness about homelessness while celebrating the beauty of our city.
Why this project matters
This project is more than just a calendar. It highlights the stories and perspectives of individuals in our community. Each photo captures a moment in time, showcasing the vibrancy and diversity of London. By purchasing a calendar, you are supporting not only the artists but also the broader mission of raising awareness about homelessness.
Join us in making a difference
We invite you to be part of this meaningful initiative. Your support can help us achieve our goal and make a real impact. Please support our crowdfunder which runs from on 8 August to 8 September.

![Looking Up, City of London by Lui Saatchi. Lui was with the Cafe Art RPS Photography Mentoring Group working with the digital cameras and he had the contest camera with him when he took this shot. “I thought the sky was nice so I thought I would give it a go. I managed to capture the same image with a disposable camera [as the digital camera] and I’m very happy with it.” Lui is an artist and goes to several art groups in London including one run by 240 Project in west London. https://www.cafeart.org.uk/shop](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/5560f1_23a10c2d2325492c8f8a4c272176aab5~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_762,h_1528,al_c,q_85,enc_avif,quality_auto/5560f1_23a10c2d2325492c8f8a4c272176aab5~mv2.jpg)

![Water Tower House, Kensal Town, west London by Maurice Woolger. “I had the disposable and decided to walk along the canal to this building which I have taken photos of loads of times before [with the Cafe Art RPS Photography Mentoring Group]. It’s very difficult to take photos of it because of the way the light bounces off. I thought I would Christen the disposable with the first photo of this building. All the practicing with the other comeras must have paid off because it’s one of the nicest photos I’ve taken of it. https://www.cafeart.org.uk/shop](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/5560f1_4bc0e01d5f20476bbc2cdb3747c448cd~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_764,h_1528,al_c,q_85,enc_avif,quality_auto/5560f1_4bc0e01d5f20476bbc2cdb3747c448cd~mv2.jpg)

Hayley said that she was walking through Covent Garden on the afternoon of the camera handout when she noticed the flowers above one of the side streets. “I’ve been living in Lillington Gardens Estate in Pimlico which is just off of Vauxhall Bridge.” she says. “I finally got housing after a complete and utter mission. I had two boys – I brought them up around there, [they] went to the school round there. I sort of love this place, I made it my home.” She is still actively involved with SHP. https://www.cafeart.org.uk/shop](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/5560f1_27dc3060adb24df49c2f9783589943f4~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_774,h_1550,al_c,q_85,enc_avif,quality_auto/5560f1_27dc3060adb24df49c2f9783589943f4~mv2.jpg)

![Dinosaur, Natural History Museum, South Kensington by Maurice Woolger. “It was a bright day and their was shadow on the skeleton [of the dinosaur] so I thought I would get the contrast of the shadow on the dinosaur and the brightness of the building.
